Jul 2, 2011 - I seem to recall the theatre was then called Apollo Coventry. I'm sure there would be more of a local record although at the time I was living in Redditch. We are talking near 30 years ago but dates woulf be within one or two of each other. All together I saw about 11 concerts from Wembley Arena (the first) to a final one at NEC about 15 years ago. To me these two will always be the best. For one man to entertain a crowd for two plus hours with just a guitar. pure talent.

Feb 8, 2012 - John's father, Henry John Deutschendorf Snr, enlisted in the USAF in 1940 and served with great distinction rising to the rank of ( I think ) Lt Colonel. I really have no idea if he was 'an original German' or just or German extraction - John's grandmother was certianly born German. Where your Nazi references come from I have no idea. Whether John was a believer in Jesus Christ I have no idea ( and no interest)
