Nov 16, 2011 - Forget novels, try writing a decent, quality short story and see how hard that is. The advice is true, you have to just keep moving things along and spend the time at the desk, and eventually you will finish. But it is not easy.

Feb 4, 2012 - I used to have this 'tail' of a moving picture in my head. If I glimpsed it through a melody or play of light or anything, and held on, it would unfurl and become a story.

Mar 3, 2012 - You just need to practice! It's just like getting better at art with study and practice, you can do the same with writing. Just do some research on how to write solid stories and read and write more often. Good luck!

May 13, 2012 - thank you very much :) i am, and i'll practice even more! i think it's also important to know what type of writing you have talent for.
tobbaddol Says:
May 18, 2012 - Don't think so much about talent. You can dicuss for ages whether such a thing even exists. Just write the books you would like to read. If you enjoy it yourself other people probably will as well.
Elanel Says:
May 24, 2012 - Definitely not about talent. Look at half the crap that's published nowadays. It's all about perseverance.
