Dec 10, 2011 - the only mistake in the sentence wasn't "used", it was "than" which should have been "then"... also I copied the sentence pattern of: "I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow in the knee" >_> also, try remembering 100% of the grammar rules of 4 languages, and than come back criticizing others randomly. You shouldn't assume everyone here is from an "english" country.
