May 28, 2012 - same with me. My mom raised me on everything Disney and oldies and literally BANNED me from listening to mainstream music. In fact, anytime she caught me buying CDs w/ mainstream artist, she broke them w/o me knowing them and threw theme away. I hated her for doing that then, but, I appreciate it now. Songs like this make me wish I were born a little bit earlier than the 90s. I was cursed as a 90s kid [where music was still enjoyable] but, I hate realizing that I missed out on great legends.
