Yes, it would have been awesome to experience bands like Maiden, Sabbath and Priest in their heydays but back then, metal was viewed as the 'bad' music by parents and other authorities. My dad knows this, even though he's not a metal fan, he told me about what it was like back then. I would have loved to see them in concert, but being constantly viewed as the scum of society just wouldn't be worth it.
