Nov 1, 2011 - In the NFL, when a fumble happens and they pile on each other trying to get the ball - a scrum I guess, we call it a fumble recovery- There was a player that admitted shoving his thumbs into the butt of the players. The logic being the man will obviously stop trying to claim the ball, and worry about protecting his hole.Players in sports do crazy crap, that's all their is to it.
