PRESS THIS BUTTON FOR INFO + LYRICS ~~~~~~~＞I wrote the lyrics to this beautiful theme from FF9 and worked very hard arranging this song for voice, harp, guitar, various drums, and recorder! Your gorgeous art brought out the creativity in me!!!══════════════════════════════In the lyrics I used the term Rose of May as a metaphor for innocence. Even the great General Beatrix was once an innocent child who'd never seen the horrors of war. I really tried to put her character into the lyrics; her blind loyalty and sense of duty, her guilt over the many deaths she caused in the name of fealty,and her eventual love for Steiner. ^_^I hope I succeeded? o_o Please rate and comment, and if you are new to my vocal covers and would like to hear more, please subscribe! May 7, 2012 - I can no longer hear this theme without your lyrics. As I think about that fact, this is the only occurrence of this in which I am very happy about it. To me, these ARE the official lyrics to the song. My sincerest, most heartfelt thanks for adding so much to something that is a huge part of my past, and something that I hold so dearly in my memories.

May 20, 2012 - Christ if this isn't my favorite damn piece of fan-art (your music is art, art!). The lyrics fit the character so well. I can imagine the hesitant Beatrix thinking all of this. Conflicting feelings as she fights for her corrupt queen against the princess she vowed to protect. Wonderful, wonderful.
