Mary Hanover Says:
May 28, 2012 - This is just another form of child abuse! No 5 year old child should be playing Bach. How many tears and tantrums did it take to achieve this level!? Kids should be allowed to be kids, they should be playing with toys, they should be playing outside. The dream quote above is obviously the quote from a very ambitious Asian parent. I feel sorry for this little girl.
Mary Hanover Says:
May 28, 2012 - She plays like this because she has an ambitious, dictatorial Asian parent who makes her practice 8 hours a day unfortunately. It's also called Child abuse!
Cecigirl123 Says:
May 28, 2012 - racist comment but yet so true lol
Wickerbasket Says:
May 28, 2012 - Laughing at all the people claiming child abuse, when the same girl is still playing away 5 years later. Jealousy is a sin.

May 28, 2012 - Lol, the west has x factor and idol and Britain's got talent, where young children go on, sing something slightly off key and become "The next britney", asia has kids like this that few people in the west have even heard of. We suck.

Vijfling Says:
May 28, 2012 - This is nothing to do with being Asian, with her parents or anything. She's just a genius, no education can make a 5 year old kid play like that.

May 26, 2012 - You'll find far more adults saying they wished their parents would have pushed them more than those who say they wish their parents wouldn't have pushed them as hard. The trick is to understand your child. Shirley Temple might have been pushed at first, but it was apparent that she could push herself because of her love for what she was doing and much of what she did came naturally. Who's to say what stage these kids are at. Music is a beautiful thing that combines the head and the heart.
