Mar 26, 2012 - i tell u what man, i saw them alive, and what is incredible, they give it all at EVERY concert, that is unreal, i dont think there is ever any other band that is consistent like that, and truly enjoys each concert and what they're doing, unless a band member is sick or something, each concert is played like its their last, i kid you not, i've never seen anything like it, ive never seen bono jaded, go through the motions etc. its like they're playing fresh no matter how many dates they tour

Mar 26, 2012 - yes it is, and this band never stops amazing me, no other band has been consistently constantly creative and innovative and a ton of other things like U2, i think its fair to say U2 was, is, and will be the best rock n roll band ever, nobody has done what they've done and accomplished, theyve done so many things, broke so many records, they are THE SHIT, no matter what anybody says, like them or not, they came, they saw, they kicked ass, and still are, they rule in just about every category

Mar 26, 2012 - You're right on in that, hearing them live is an experience you can only experience for yourself, sure, you can watch their videos, studio & live, listen to their music, but there is NOTHING like a U2 concert, its an experience i cant describe except to say that you see they are just people and you are amazed at what they say & do live, unlike a video, record, anything of theirs, its like being at the game of your favorite team rather than watching it on tv, U2 does elevate life, is not mundane

We all have our master's or PhD's and most of us are also into NASCAR and guns. I'm the biggest U2 fan I know. Been to some of their greatest shows (GA @ the Rose Bowl '09 and Honolulu '06, among others), THE Joshua Tree (twice), Zabriskie Point, Bodie, The Harmony, 7th & Main, Dublin, you name it. Why hate? Enough with the stereotypes already...
