First of all this movie is all about the boy who probally has asburgers or an other type of autism.Second of all, its about the difference between his relationship with his dad and mom.And mainly he's trying to once more feel connected with his dad throughout the movie.

Apr 23, 2012 - Horrible horrible movie. The pacing was awful, the acting was uneven, and I didn't gain much from it other than 9/11 was a tragic day for us all. That kid really must have something against the audience's good will for making himself look like a young Sheldon Cooper instead of an actual human being. We get it, you lost your father and you cope by refusing to ctfd. You all see an unforgettable movie about loss and determination. All I see is "Hugo" done wrong.

May 23, 2012 - Dude, the kid had a disease *I forget the name* that is sort of like autism. It makes it nearly immpossible to understand things that are illogical (like death). He isn't like a human being because he has a REAL disease, and when he control the pain, and hurt himself because he didn't understand...I'm sorry, but that was the saddest moment in movie history.
