Nov 3, 2011 - Not for the more discerning viewer... The story is beautiful, but the delivery is awful. Gainsbourg's acting is awful and Simone's precociousness is beyond suspension of belief. The whole movie is hammy. The soundtrack is good, though, if you're in it for the music. :-)
