Feb 9, 2012 - You can't argue the point about the aspect ratio being wrong. The fact is the picture is squashed in some of the clips. 300 and Atonement to name just two. The aspect ratio for 300 should be 2.11:1 and Atonement's aspect ratio should be 1.85:1 but here they look the same (squashed from the side, tall skinny people). Some people don't notice these things. If you look at a circle in the wrong aspect ratio it's not a circle.

Feb 10, 2012 - Oh, just one final word on this from me ... when I make videos I try to portray the emotion of the song and that's what I tried to do here ... the fact that some of the aspect ratios might be technically incorrect in some of the clips doesn't matter one jot to me, or I suspect to many of the other viewers .... thanks for pointing it out anyway and I agree with you that some (most) "people don't notice these things" .... stay happy!

The only problem is that some of his video's have been blocked by Youtube (a.o. a video in which he used Coldplay's "Paradise". Do you have any tips?

As for tips, I don't really have any, it's just a matter of trial & error as to which videos yt will allow, and I try (you'll probably have seen from my video descriptions) to stick as closely as I can to their rules as far as I understand them. My feeling is that the fan-made videos sometimes enhance/promote the work of the artist(s), but yt doesn't always see it that way and I too have had some videos blocked from time to time! Hope this helps!

Apr 6, 2012 - I myself have found that so many people are quick to judge a person's merit based soley on appearance. Ex. Adele is getting heat because she's not paper thin. Some of the best singers in history have been BBW's(kate is not) I myself don't care what a person looks like nor do I let their appearance sway what their music (or whatever) says to me.
