Mar 21, 2012 - I tear up everytime i hear this played. It's such a rush, like the ultimate nostalgia trip for me. My childhood comes rushing back. I think i appreciate it more now than i ever did. What amazes me is how many lives these RPGs touched, made both by the now deceased Squaresoft (Square enix is balls) and other great companies. You hardly ever hear about how good the gameplay was, no, it's always the MUSIC, the CHARACTERS, the STORY. I feel no heart and soul in any RPGs these days.

Apr 22, 2012 - this was one of the reasons I still practice playing. (not my original instrument of course but a guitar works too) this game was the #1 reason I became as much of a band geek as I have. proud to say I can play everything but Brass, Violin (soon) and Piano... I grew up when games had 8-bit sound, and then to hit high-school and have games like that with Phenomenal instrumentals... it blew my mind.
