May 7, 2012 - It does sound duller, but IMO the Orange is less articulate. Which can be a bummer if you're playing notier metal stuff. But yeah it's got a richer tone, the Dark Terror that is.

May 12, 2012 - only with solid states if at all. ever stood next to a fully cranked vox ac30? that is about 115-120 dB 1 meter away from the speaker, and this means serious ear injuries within 10-15 minutes. unless you want to play 100% clean without the slightest sign of saturation (wich neither the tiny nor the dark terror were designed for) you wont even need 50 watts if you're not playing in stadiums!

May 13, 2012 - no, it's beefier

May 14, 2012 - I have dual terror which is tonally identical to the TT. Its great for sabbath stuff, perfect tone for it actually especially when the volume is cranked and the tubes are hot.

May 16, 2012 - When playing out I mostly use a Line6 Pod X3 Live plugged directly into the PA. Over the years I've lost count of the people who've come up afterward drooling over my tone, only to walk away eternally saddened when they learn they were crazy about a Line6 product. \m/

May 23, 2012 - The Line6 sounds more like a studio produced sound, that is why I love Line6 products, they give you a studio style sound in live settings. I still use a first generation Pod and people still are amazed at the sounds it puts out thru my Bose L1 Model II !
