Dec 16, 2010 - his wife is dead and was ever since he met her!

shadowseraph78 Says:

Jan 7, 2011 - I am pretty sure that the ceramic he is talking about is a secondary reaction of the aluminum oxide with the sand (silicon dioxide) to form aluminosilicates, which are components of clays. There is also some glass there too, of course, from the melting and solidifying of silicon dioxide.

Barbarian216 Says:

Jan 9, 2011 - Maybe if he sort of perverted a comparison between the termite reaction with creating "rock hard" iron from alumumiun (Viragra) as the same reaction when a "woody" meets a pussy = hot fire.Bet all the students ears would perk up and the classroom floor would probably by covered with zitzz!

Jun 1, 2011 - A Florida engineer, Jonathan Cole, recently demonstrated how to use packaged thermite to cut steel girders, box columns, and bolts. See my video:Incendiary Experiments

MestreXian Says:

Feb 5, 2012 - Maybe, but still better than someone with a chalk in the hand talking to a blackboard. We should understand that knowledge in general was not created in a classroom, its a result of experience and we should learn by following the same steps of those who discovered it.
