Feb 5, 2012 - i use to work at wells fargo when it was wachovia in a call center, and i cant begin to tell you how the supervisors had us talk and and cheat clients due to "service fees" and the likes. the whole banking system is to screw the customers, especially the hard working everyday people.you did the right thing, no doubt at all

I have cancer too and have made a few late payments to credit cards because I'd lose track of things being in and out of the doctors. I personally have stopped doing business with Bank of America because I find they treat their customers terribly. I'm glad you stood up for what you felt was right!

Feb 5, 2012 - Well, it is simple, if people don't want to suffer for being in debt, don't get in debt, if you bargain with the devil and then cry, they will laugh, as you are the one that make the deal anyway, now regarding the job, well it is a job and if you can't handle it you should have never applied for it, it is indeed Collections, I have done it before, people that want to help others and be humanitarian start non profits and other community helping organisations, they are not for profits.

Some people will have legitimate hard times and others ready excuses. Your job isn't deciding which you've got or to give charity at shareholders expense.
