Sep 8, 2010 - Good to see Constellation is still going inspite what President Obama said..

Kapitananime Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - President Obama was not serious about going to an asteroid. Other wise he would not have tried to cancel Constellation. However the Senate has forced his hand and NASA will have to build an Ares V Class rocket before 2016. But with so few asteroids to go to in the next 20 years, the logical target is the MOON. Thanks Mr. President for such a well planned out space policy that does NOTHING for 20 plus years.

dennizenx Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - another breakthrough indeed. Why wouldn't we just get vomit from, oh I dont know, an actual person ? Sems like it would have saved a few thousand dollars. And all this to test trashbags...are they to put our hopes and dreams into ? lol, alas, in my opinion it is going to take a serious dare-devil act of space piracy to show people how accessible space has truly become in the 21st century.

DukeNukemIsHere3 Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - None of those plans have been implemented yet.

Kapitananime Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - Which plans? The Senate Bill or Obama's Nowhere plans?

DukeNukemIsHere3 Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - All of them. Nothing has been implemented yet.

Kapitananime Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - Well both were to start in 2011 and that is some months away. The Senate Bill is now LAW and the House Bill is still pending. The plan Obama wanted is to remove NASA from building Manned space craft and going to the Moon. But the Senate did not like that idea at all and now there will be a big Rocket built on the same technology and investment spent on Constellation. The Congress of both houses are not happy with the Obama plan of DO NOTHING for 30 years.

pacificguitarist Says:

Sep 29, 2010 - The senate bill was endorsed by the Obama administration. It is viewed as a compromise with Obama's original plans. Sadly, I am of the belief that Obama's original plans were much better. Commercial is the future. Only 1.3 billion dollars are being given to commercial in the senate bill compared to the 5.9 billion in Obama's original plan.

vigelic Says:

Sep 29, 2010 - what happened to sept 12, 19, and 26?

dabozuk Says:

Sep 30, 2010 - Have you guys stopped making this a weekly show? And what's Miles up to? An explanation of the break in this weekly show is needed on the TWIS website please!

Kapitananime Says:

Oct 4, 2010 - The compromise was forced on the President. And Commercial is a fantasy as it is too soon and the Government is the only customer.

pacificguitarist Says:

Oct 4, 2010 - I would not use the term forced.... but I know what you are trying to say. Of course the compromise was "forced" on the President. All compromises "force" both parties to COMPROMISE.That being said, I still think Obama's original plan was better for the long term oh human space flight, but the compromise is still a good bill. You say that commercial is a "fantasy" and that the Government is the "only customer." These two quotes show a serious naivete on your part.

PLAlfa Says:

Oct 5, 2010 - i bet that was their last video.. no funds for them to make more,,,people are so mean and rapacious

KosmicFlux Says:

Nov 22, 2010 - Not really, it's mostly dirt kicked up from the ground and water vapour and other natural elements.

FatFreddy88 Says:

Feb 28, 2011 - Space radiation is probably why they had to fake the Apollo moon missions in a studio. Here's a link to some of the evidence that they faked it.spurstalk (dot) com/forums/showthread (dot) php?t=144487

monokhem Says:

Jun 18, 2011 - That isn't true at all. The new big rocket was Obama's Idea. Making out of pieces of other rockets we have laying around was congresses contribution. He never wanted to remove Nasa from building manned space craft. He wanted NASA to focus on deep space craft. He was the one that was for keeping Orion. Obama's plan for space is the best one we've ever had to get the most people and equipment into space. It's a good thing we are following it.
