To me this whole album is an exploration of spirituality. Very well written. To say "OMG this song is the bomb when I'm on acid" is really selling the artists short. To each his own and all that, but believe me when I say these things can be better appreciated to their original intent sober.

Now, his whole life is in the toilet and he's in prison. Yay drugs! My younger brother started using drugs and started stealing from his own family, thank God that he is on the road to recovery now. May 20, 2011 - that's called abuse.. an addiction. you can't get addicted to pot or acid. the drugs like coke/meth/crack/heroin are addictive and create problems such as what your brother was doing. You've had some personal negative experience with something, understandably your just showing your close mindedness by labeling as something bad completely and shutting the door. Also i'm not saying that you can't get into a spiritual state sober.. of course you can, anyone can P.S. Pot isn't a drug!

May 20, 2011 - in continuance to my previous post. spiritual awakening isn't the only effect, not only that but the things felt and what you think about are on a whole other plane of standard thinking than when your sober. I sure felt i knew what it would be like before i ever drank alcohol, smoked pot... the effects from those 2 things are pretty tame compared to psychedelics and i was pretty wrong in my assumption. i'm just saying you really REALLY don't know what your saying until you've tried it!

I also know that if you ask any drug addict in recovery if marijuana is a gateway drug, they will tell you it is because they are being honest with themselves and not trying to sugar coat anything to make themselves feel better like you do. Drugs are not a positive thing, no matter how you try to justify them. You obviously need them to medicate your ignorant self centered ways. Smoke on and keep popping.

So a question for you. Other than a "medical prescription", why the hell else would you smoke weed regularly? If it isn't to escape your miserable reality, then what for? Don't say to "chill out" or "relax" because that would be the same thing as escaping reality because you can't feel good sober.
