May 20, 2012 - No "hoarse old man" will ever be better than Ringo in main vocal.<3And no "bombastic" choir will be ever better than John, Paul and George in back vocals.<3Really.

May 20, 2012 - great vocals, Brian May amazing as usual.. that being said imo considering how the lyrics is all happy and 'chipper', the music and the way it has been sung in this cover just doesn't go with the lyrics

May 23, 2012 - I agree. I've been listening to him since the 70s and he always has the perfect backing vocals! Almost a signature of his legendary music. Big like.

May 28, 2012 - To me, this is the definitive version of this song. Though I'm a hard line Beatle fan I must say I really like Ringo's original version, (only because it matched the overall theme from Pepper) but on all other levels Joe does it best. I'm also very glad Joe's version was chosen as the theme song for the Wonder Years episodes..... Roll over Ringo, dig those rhythm and blues. :^)
