Nov 20, 2009 - I agree, i was getting a head ache from all of the backwards shit, like one giant subliminal message, but the end made up for it with its message.

Feb 27, 2010 - great show! thanks for posting... She just shot at him, and then he makes out with her, and everyone else continues reading their magazines... lol

May 6, 2010 - I don't get it. In the end, she still doesn't shoot him, she shoots a cigarette case. How does this prevent the catastrophe foretold by the Mars guy in his instructions to the Mars guys doing the experiment? It would have been hilarious and it would have made sense if she had shot his balls off! He would live, they would marry, but no kids; therefore, no catastrophe!
rtmorphine Says:
May 6, 2010 - I realize this was early 1964, but if anyone could pull it off, it would be either Rod Serling & The Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits. Carroll O'Connor does an awesome job!

Aug 6, 2010 - @1bichon1 "SyFy", is what Sci Fi Channel re branded to about a year ago... it has no meaning, and is both a stupid decision, and a horrible idea. Ergo, saying "SyFy" when you are referencing Sciene Fiction, or "Sci Fi", you sound like an idiot. Not to say that you are one, but do you see my point? Back on topic...this is a fantastic episode of The Outer Limits, and I do agree with you.

Jul 17, 2011 - Gotta say, I do not mind ads if i can see this great stuff like in the old days - off the antennae. Except better. On a windy day, reception was a b***h. ;-} Seriously though. the original Outer Limits has always been one of the most intelligent on TV. Glad to see it available here. This way a younger generation can enjoy it as well. Thanks y'all.
PreApocalypseJitters Says:
Oct 2, 2011 - We should not be so critical of this episode. It may not represent the most captivating entertainment of the series, but it does present a pair of illuminating truths: the other entities of the universe, known and unknown, may not be as impenetrable and awesome as we assume, and murder, even to the goofy little green men, is still ugly.

Mar 5, 2012 - Well, he *was* knocked to the floor in that last round. I think it would be better if the writers showed the director placing the cigarette case back into the man's coat pocket. They would find the case, see the dent in it, and conclude it was a last second deflection by the case which saves his life. Ergo, no son of the couple grows up to believe he is 'immortal' and starts WWIII. But then, we are just...the viewers of the theater. ;)

Apr 11, 2012 - Love the pawn brokers bow tie. I think he was on All In The Family. The other Martian was on his own series too but, I don't remember his name, I think they're both dead now though. Karla has a very nice dress, I wish women still dressed that way. Duh, he has lip color on his collar, these Martian's are so stupid, that's why he was shot, it was another woman's. L.0.L. Happy ending though.

May 28, 2012 - As much as I've always liked it, that ending has always confused me a little too.
Oppeldeldoc1 Says:
May 28, 2012 - I may not know Robert Fortier from anything but Outer Limits episodes, but he and Grace Lee Whitney do a great job of not laughing while O'Connor and Morse hang around them that way! I've always liked this one a whole lot. It's like Outer Limits meets The Odd Couple.

Sep 14, 2009 - Yep, Carroll O'Connor, R.I.P.
