Apr 9, 2012 - My pleasure, a great song. Unfortunately the B-52's seem to be the only punk band that made any impression in the USA. Obviously being from the USA was a big factor, but that didn't help the Ramones. Over here during what they now call the "UK punk explosion" they did a tour (1977), and every concert was a complete sell out. In contrast, apart from New York, in the USA they were playing to pathetically small audiences. A real shame.
