Aug 20, 2009 - This was made famous on the early television show around 1954 - "Victory at Sea". Usually played when showing shipboard life as the sailors relax before a big and bloody battle and think of the girls they left back home. Oh, it was so deceivingly romantic. Perry sure sings it great.

May 7, 2011 - "One of the many factors in his success was Como's insistence on his principles of good taste; if he considered something to be in bad or poor taste, it was not in the show or broadcast." source: wikipedia

Sep 11, 2011 - Ronnie Hilton does a good job on this lovely song, but does not come close to Perry's version, his voice is not as good as Perry's.

Jan 30, 2012 - I think this is the type of song he preferred to sing and it shows better the quality of his voice and what he was able to do.

Mar 18, 2012 - When I was about 6 we were vacationing in Miami Beach. I remember hearing this song on the Georgian Hotel's speakers by the swimming pool, near the swaying palms and the beach. It made an impression on me, and to this day, the song reminds me of Miami Beach.

Mar 27, 2012 - Love this version of of the song by Perry Como and by Ronnie Hilton. would love to hear the original as well as sung in the show Me and Juliet by Isabel Bigley & Bill Hayes. This was one of Rodgers & Hammerstein best songs from their vastly underated show, which only had it's London premiere on stage last year
