May 11, 2012 - Well germany hadn't taken over Europe (in fact several countries never got involved), and America wasn't the only one involved in Germany's defeat, you do get credit for making Japan surrender. Which I guess one cold argue is "finishing" the war given that they were the last one standing by that point.
