May 3, 2012 - I think that's where I was going originally. I'm talking about the people who are trying transpose the Mayan calendar to the Gregorian calendar and came up with this 2012 nonsense. Some guy on the radio actually did some real heavy math and figured out that if you actually did do the calculations to convert Mayan calendar dates to our Gregorian calendar, the "end" would actually come in 8000 something.

May 4, 2012 - I hope not, that would ruin my plans. I don't see WW3, the condtions don't favor it. Who would be involved? I mean let's look at just one geopolitical scenario, China and its allies vs. the U.S. and its allies. China holds billions in U.S. debt. If China would go to war with us that would weaken our economy. With us unable to pay them back, their economy would crash. Why shoot yourself in the foot like that?

May 7, 2012 - FUN FACT : The Mayan Calendar was created without the consideration of the extra quarter day the Earth has each year; but after Caesar incorporated it in 45 B.C. (in the form of leap years), our calendar system has used it ever since. Without the extra day that we get from a leap year every four years, we'd be over 500 days into the future -- Meaning that according to the Mayan calendar, the earth should've ended around 7 months ago :D

May 7, 2012 - Yeah, but then it wouldn't be a world war, just a Mid-East one. What if Israel attacked Iranian nuke sites? Probably nothing because: 1.) the Arab states in the region are not any more anxious to see Iran with the bomb than the Israelis - remember Iran is not Arab. 2.) After 1973, the Arabs are not interested in mixing it up with Israel again, particularly since the Israelis do have nukes. We'd probably see a lot more activity from Hezbollah in retaliation, but the Israelis can handle it.

Voters should keep their end of the line by holding politicians accountable for what they say. We can also blog, get involved and speak up whenever were called to do so. "it will happen and its beyond our control" it is true that China is becoming a stronger economy than the U.S. But does this signal doom and gloom? Id say no. There are allot of good, decent and peace loving chineese too.
