Obama has cut the amount of write offs you can have for dependents. Gay or straight we are in a world of mess over those kinds of decisions in the US.

May 24, 2012 - I'm not a terribly religious person. I just believe that people shouldn't be so harsh towards gay people. I was brought up to believe that. Even though my family and I don't go to church etc. doesn't mean that we're not "true christians". I do believe in God but my parents just raised me to believe that I should respect and accept gay people.

May 27, 2012 - Well actually God doesn't hate any type of person. This includes people who are gay. I know a lot of people who lie or are misinformed or choose to believe that God hates gays but that's not true. (and it also doesn't say he hates gay people in the bible). So the decision to like gay people is not going against the bible but actually following what it says. (which actually says we should love everyone).

May 27, 2012 - The Bible considers being gay a sin like any other. If you think all gays will go to hell for their "sin" then so will you and everyone else in the world who are also sinners. If everyone in the world are only going to hell because they have committed a sin then there was no point in God dying for us. And its ok to love people who are gay because God loves everyone and tells us to do the same. Maybe you should study the bible more so you wont put things out of context.
