swagtoast Says:
Apr 27, 2012 - actually phatmusic is right. it never goes into 6/8 or 4/8. also it could be in 5/4 or 10/8, its basically the same thing
Adamboms Says:
May 3, 2012 - I think Snarky Puppy is the best group to come up in over 30 years.
drummaboy15 Says:
May 5, 2012 - I never said it goes into 6/8. that's how the 10/8 is counted. The majority of the drum solo is in 10/8 (accented by the piano and guitar arpeggio). Listen.... It's easier to count it at 10/8. 5/4 accents the quarter note...although it could be counted in 5/4 its easier t count it at 10/8. (ex. 4/4 and 4/8...could be counted the same way. its all about how its divided in the music...)
drummaboy15 Says:
May 5, 2012 - who cares...just listen to the song...

May 5, 2012 - DESTINY LOOK AT ME
AlBear1994 Says:
May 13, 2012 - Yeah infact a bar of 7/4 is just two bars of 7/8. personally I find it easier as a drummer to count it in 7/4 because it flows much nicer that way, but I actually learned to play this song without even realising what time signature it was in.
