Jun 30, 2011 - I saw this on Opening Day. June 1st 1984. The 305 PM Showing. Iwas one of the first people in my state to see it. T'was a Fair Film with some good moments. But not a Great Movie. Hearing in the Dialogue that the Indestructible,Resilient and Legendary Enterprise was to be Deccomisioned and Retired was a Downer and Dulled out the Movie. Kirk's Son's fate was a No Gooder either. Trek took itself too seriously with this Film and Made mistakes. Coming back to Earth was a Huge Lack of Creativity.
