Aug 2, 2010 - I think the song is about someone who came into the speaker's life and changed everything. It's like, the speaker was in a state of dispair and this special person slowly fixed all the things that were wrong. When he's saying "All I wanted to do was fall apart again" he means he got to a point where feeling hopeless was all he knew how to do. That is.... until this angel of mercy came along. :)

Nov 1, 2011 - Actualy it's "All I wanted to do has fallen apart now". I know, I bought the cd and it came with official lyrics in a special booklet. So yeah maybe that alters the meaning a bit.
