Jan 10, 2007 - great Davide!! a pride for Italy!! his Petrouchka (Stavinsky) is better than any other versions, trust me :-)

Brianjonestown Says:

Apr 6, 2007 - as usual, Conlon mispronounces the word "pianist"

chad410 Says:

Apr 9, 2007 - where s OLga Kern,she s unique and very talented?

Brianjonestown Says:

Jun 1, 2007 - You are mistaken. The word is mispronounced and remains one of the most pervasive errors in the spoken language. You may check at will, for your opinion is disreputable, lunatic and wrong.

vinelandeddie Says:

Jun 27, 2007 - I am always amazed and moved at Menachem Pressler's verbal gift (in addation to his musical honesty)...he can almost describe with his words and the intensity and passion in his face and body language why musicians who speak to us with such passion and intelligence give us respite from this banal and terrifying world in which we must try to survive..thank you to U tube for showing us truth about musicians , as well as truth about politics and other objective clarification

cziffra1980 Says:

Jun 30, 2007 - try the online dictionary. Also, consider the fact that the word 'piano' is Italian.

Brianjonestown Says:

Jul 3, 2007 - Already duly considered, for I am Italian. Moreover, online dictionaries are for quick-fix simpletons and Cziffra fans. I'm right and that's the end of it.

cziffra1980 Says:

Jul 4, 2007 - Try any other dictionary. You're wrong and you're also a prick. THAT is the end of it.

Brianjonestown Says:

Jul 4, 2007 - Lame comeback but nice try anyway, kiddo. The spoken language is something you clearly don't understand, which is understandable given the way you write. Conlon mispronounced the word. That's still the end of it, but by all means keep on whinging if it blows your hair back.

cziffra1980 Says:

Jul 4, 2007 - Sure. You have right to overrule every dictionary and I 'don't understand' that.

LVB1770 Says:

Nov 16, 2007 - Wonderful open mindedness! Great presentation.Thank you so much VanCliburnFoundation!

drumroll99 Says:

Jan 12, 2008 - I think pronunciations can be colloquial and thus the rules are a lot looser than you guys suggest. Therefore you're both pricks. :-P

cziffra1980 Says:

Jan 12, 2008 - Perhaps you're a prick too, because you apparently missed that I didn't suggest any pronunciation to be the single 'correct' way. In fact I don't use or particularly like that pronuciation I was defending. It's certainly not 'wrong', however as it comes the Italian pronunciation of the Italian word piano.

drumroll99 Says:

Jan 12, 2008 - Oh come on, don't take everything people say so seriously! It's not good for your blood pressure. :-D

cziffra1980 Says:

Jan 12, 2008 - Well, we can all be pricks. There's nothing wrong with that :-)

drumroll99 Says:

Jan 12, 2008 - :-)
