Apr 2, 2012 - Tap water is the best - IF you filter out the chlorine, fluoride, pesticide & herbicide runoff, and pharmaceutical pollution. Plastic bottles are toxic to manufacture, and leech into the water. FILTER your tap water!

Apr 9, 2012 - Here in w pa I'm worried about rust, mercury, and radioactive waste. I live between 2 radioactive material dump sites. This area is known for its industrial waste. Im not worried about germs. Was the water in the ny experiment tested for heavy metals?

Apr 9, 2012 - I used to drink dassani bottled water until a friend asked me to smell it. It smelled like sewage. Also there are places where the water is different. Certain glacier fed lakes and artesian wells. These waters do seem to be special. I am fairly cheap but I pay for aquafina. Even though I know it's tap water. I worry though that the filtering process may be to efficient taking out something our bodies need. I am perplexed on this issue.

Apr 11, 2012 - Yes a lot of bottled water companies are misleading, however 20/20 with John Stossel don't explain that NYC spent millions to clean up their horrible water problem and now is the best in the USA. I drink tap when in NYC, but would not anywhere else; especially in Phoenix Arizona where I live. It in is incredibly tanted!

May 22, 2012 - not all bottled water is created equally. If you don't know what your buying then it's easy to get ripped off. Bottled "spring water" is essentially tap water. However Micron Filtered Reversed Osmosis water that's been carbon polished tastes DRASTICALLY better than any tap and it is worth every penny.
