White Lies perform 'From The Stars' live on the Adventures in the Beetroot Field and NME Stage at Field Day, Victoria Park, London E3 on 9 August 2008.The hotly tipped London band has been variously likened to Joy Division, Interpol and Editors!Their debut single, Unfinished Business, was released on the Chess Club label and was recognised by NME as Track of the Week.From The Stars will be included on White Lies debut album, To Lose My Life, due for release in the UK on 19 January 2009 (available from 20 January in the US).White Lies will be touring the UK as part of the NME Awards Tour (with Florence and the Machine, Friendly Fires and Glasvegas) from 29 January. They will also be supporting The Cure at the O2 Arena in London on 26 February for the NME Big Gig.

Feb 8, 2009 - From The Stars has been my favourite since I first saw them (this set at Field Day in August 2008). They didn't play it at the instores at HMV London or Banquet either. Hope they are not going to neglect this song - it would make a great single.
