May 27, 2012 - Its so amazing I shall listen to this while we make big strides, move towards the future, make life a better thing
Adam Jensen Says:
May 27, 2012 - I never asked for this.
HybridDragons Says:
May 27, 2012 - Well, with the dawn of Transhumanism, even "Humanity" is now a subjective concept. I personally think that we are far too young as a species to set our barriers for what "humanity" is in stone. We've only had approximately 7000 years of technological development (1500 was taken away due to religion in the west).Inventions are inevitable. Expansion is inevitable. And the way things are looking right now, either we speed up evolution, or suffer this planet's revenge for the centuries of rape.
MrFugassa Says:
May 27, 2012 - I love your reply and I agree with it. "Humanity" as we know it has developed (not evolved in my opinion) too much to simply throw away its luxuries. We depend on them now and either we develop a solution or we suffer the consequences. It's like passing your finger over a candle, you'll burn if you stop.I know that sadly my ideas are utopic and impossible because of men's nature to always want more but I can't avoid criticizing our flaws. Why won't we stop polution? Why ignore this horror?
MrFugassa Says:
May 27, 2012 - Thank you xD
MrFugassa Says:
May 27, 2012 - My thoughts exactly. Thumbs up.
MrFugassa Says:
May 27, 2012 - Those humans fighting for stability aren't the ones getting elected. Sadly, the ones who promises riches and easy life are the ones who win.Green Peace fights for ecology but aren't there hundreds of species getting extinct every now and then? Politicians fight (sometimes) for social balance but aren't there thousands upon thousands of injustices commited everyday not to mention corruption? Are we any better now in comparison to other centuries? This is my point.
MrFugassa Says:
May 27, 2012 - That's what I think, but perhaps we are meant to finally "evolve" as a species when we face the day Earth comes back to bite us in the ass, after all, fear is essential to evolution.
HybridDragons Says:
May 27, 2012 - The way I see it, there are two ways for humanity to stop being so self-destructive.1) The 'sub-conscious' part of our brain evolves past primeval instincts into a hivemind-like state, putting the good of the majority past survival and personal gain instincts. There is a limit to what a conscious mind can suppress.2) We die out. Criticizing our flaws is probably the first small step towards change. But change comes with time, and our perception of time is twisted. We are extremely young.
MrFugassa Says:
May 27, 2012 - Then we need time we do not have. The planet isn't gonna stand another 1500 years of crazy, uncontrolled growth. I honestly can't find a solution better than yours and that takes to my "we are all doomed" conclusion.
LokeyWindrunner Says:
May 28, 2012 - The past few comments are retarded. We are all going to die in 100 years aproximitly. So it won't be our problem. Now go get laid and smoke a bowl. Amen.
Mortalisthe1 Says:
May 28, 2012 - As far as life goes we cannot live in perfect harmony because life is based on conflict.. BUT that conflict is not the wrong we face, it is the ignorance that we base our disorder on that is at fault. I don't want to live in a world where we are all slaves to an comfortable destiny but a world where we reach out to the sun and face the the challenges ahead of us. I don't look up to Jesus or Budha. There is no will where there is certainty. I look up to Icarus. Just maybe, we might reach the sun.
Stigkill01 Says:
May 28, 2012 - True
Samuellos77 Says:
May 28, 2012 - I never asked for your comment. Now go home and get drunk. Your words are lost to me...
KeratsiniHombre Says:
May 28, 2012 - No actual comment on the debate here, I just felt like dropping a line to express my awe for a game that sets deep and real questions, and creates stacks upon stacks of comments, void of idiocy and flaming. Thank you guys for giving a true brainstorm for the rest of us to read and think about. And just 'cause I have to add my 2 cents, in reply to those who defend Greenpeace, Unicef and whatever, these are, imo, among the worst liars and deceivers we've seen so far. Don't believe the hype ;)
martindls2011 Says:
May 28, 2012 - Vote for this song on IGN's "Greatest Video Game Music" so you can listen to it played by The London Philharmonic Orchestra! :D

jumpsinblackhole Says:
May 28, 2012 - .. But, we aren't correcting them.. So no matter how advanced we are, we'll never move forward.. And, God is the highest advanced. When we pull our head outta our asses, we'll see..
Timlee137 Says:
May 28, 2012 - unfortunately if humanity were to develop to be selfless, the change could not be obtained naturally and would have to happen artificially. There is just no incentive. Even in the relatively tamed nature of society, survival of the fittest still reigns.
jumpsinblackhole Says:
May 28, 2012 - heres a start for a change.. go 'occupy' the bilderburg meeting coming up.. lol..
Ironhide3 Says:
May 28, 2012 - yeah def has a blade runner vibe to it.
kamakazi2o6 Says:
May 29, 2012 - Darwinism(social) at it's finest. Even though it is ridiculed and discredited I believe it to be true. Chaos and peace are so closely intertwined after all.

Pantherized001 Says:
May 27, 2012 - The nature of human beings is to change. We adapt to overcome our inadequacies, usually to a great end result. Augmentation is a natural step forward. For those of us who try to better ourselves, to rise above the limits that we have, there must be a defining event. This event could be changing the way we view the word human.
