May 27, 2012 - I don't have deep enough knowledge of his training exercises to say one way or the other, but it was either for show to represent the level of strength and will he has achieved, or it actually strengthens his hands to do it that way. Bruce Lee always had a reason for the things he did. He always had something in his hand even if he was working on papers or watching something. A stress relief ball he would squeeze or a small weight while he did other activities. He was just that kinda guy.
