Oct 11, 2011 - He wasn't supposed to fight, he was commentating. Than Sapp withdrew from the fight against Hoost and they asked Peter to fight. So he just borrowed Schilt's shorts and fought. But Hoost and Peter probably talked and decided they weren't going for a knock out, cauz Peter didn't train for it.

For one thing because bending down like in boxing guarantees a loss on lowkick TKO. It's childsplay to press an unadapted boxer and scrap his legs.Have a look at the fights of that silly American called Butterbean. He's a boxer who went into kickboxing. Highly succesfull as a boxer too. But the laughingstock of kickboxing. Lucky punch KOs aside he lost every fight he had.

Those two boxers always heavily relied on bending over to be immune and getting in close before striking. None of that works in kickboxing. People just respond with lowkicks, and there's a good chance charging in headdown like especially Tyson did makes one walk into a knee to the face.Besides, they're not used to bone-on-bone impacts. Blocking kicks is way different from punches.
