May 7, 2012 - there is no too far or aggressive with music like this. it's played however you feel it should be played. and it's personal preference to you whether it's too fast or too aggressive.

Interestingly, with almost every performance by a different pianist, I hear different melodies and phrases which further deepen my appreciation for this beautifully moving piece. This is no exception. I think Labé could even make "Chopsticks" moving (....ok... a bit too far, there....dang!)
