Nov 1, 2009 - Kate said that Meryl was her least favourite screen actress. She said "click click click" referring to the wheels turning in Streep's head. I feel that she did not like Meryl because she knew Meryl could and inevitably would upstage all other actresses of the time, which she did. Kate knew how "big" a star Meryl would become. I think that K. Hepburn didn't like Streep's acting because it was better than her own.

And even if its true, why someone is not allow to have an opinion about another artist? Bette Davis was well known to tell nasty comment about many actor and actresses and nobody were shock! So miss Streep is not a God and you have to accept that not all people like her acting style.
