Feb 1, 2012 - @shyko95 i meant i doubt anyone really understands what aesop rock meant himself. i agree with us finding our own meaning in songs and other forms of art.

Feb 2, 2012 - hey guys, i doubt anyone cares but i have nothing to lose by trying. yes, i know its generic as everyone on youtube is asking to check out their rap channel, but if you have a few minutes to spare wether you wanna legitimately check out my music or visit my page to laugh at how bad you assume i am, it would be much appreciated if you checked my shit out. thanks

Feb 2, 2012 - Most longtime fans recognized the "None Shall Pass" LP as a pretty blatant attempt at making an album with wider appeal. Working with trendy indie rock artists, cutting down the density of his flow, etc. This song though.. holy shit it's moving.

Feb 2, 2012 - EL-P 's "I'll Sleep When You're Dead" was all about broadening his appeal too, but he did it without compromising his original m.o.. This Aesop Rock record hasn't aged very well though.

Feb 2, 2012 - @sdp026 Everyone always says that whenever one album lands that's got a different feel. If this is just the first in a trend, sure, but who knows. Maybe he just wanted to do it like this.

Feb 3, 2012 - it's awesome how artists have been able to somehow integrate those cold sounding electronic voice samples into the beat making them almost sound warm within the context. that's how you make music

Feb 1, 2012 - @FatBoyRunnin4You Not really, sure I could draw some random interpretation of the songs meaning when stoned but it wouldn't make any sense except to me. However, theirs no way I could draw a logical conclusion of how this song reflects an significant event in aesop rocks life that obviously had such an impact he was inspired to write this song. I'm not trying to call you out or anything just simply supporting what I stated earlier.
