We're all blessed that we have these recordings & videos so younger people like you can see & experience what it was like. These times will never come again, but we have it forever! Marvin is so great, one of the best of all time.

May 7, 2012 - @trackerinblue yeah, you guys were pretty lucky to have that music experience..and im glad theres recordings etc. Every now and then i end up listening to artists from the 40s, 50s,60s,70s and 80s because those types of music never gets me bored. i wish i could go back in time just to watch musicians like marvin gaye...you're very lucky to have lived in that era =)

He led a freakish childhood but released all his pent up anger with music - just as other artists had done and still continue to do so. RIP Marvin, I only wish you were born to a better father, you well and truly are a legend.
