Dec 3, 2011 - AH!!! That's where Marc Almond got it from!!
samhain66 Says:
Dec 3, 2011 - He sure did, Marc was a Wigan Casino regular and Soft Cell once described that they wanted to make music that sound like northern Soul and Kraftwerk. He certainly retained the emotional vocal :)

Dec 4, 2011 - So people up North were dancing and clubbing to Soul, what were people down south doing then?
teewoods Says:
Dec 4, 2011 - Wait you are the 4th person with the white shirt who did the sort of high kick? Are you serious? If you are, then let me say this. Apart from the song, you are the 2nd reason why I added this video to favourite. Best move of the whole video! I tried it and ended up in hospital. All my mates loved the move especially the ladies! You don't understand how popular you are hahaha!

Dec 8, 2011 - Mate that was awesome. The thing is people don't club any more in the uk. My clubbing years were the early 90's. I left the country about 10yrs ago and came for a visit and I have to say all people did was either get really drunk or take pictures of how cool they look so they can post them on Facebook. You should still go to the all nighters like many still do. Seems like you lost the faith. :o)i'm no spring chicken either it hurts realising the body just cant do what it used to.

Dec 16, 2011 - One of my all time favorite northern songs, what a blast from the past, loved going out dancing all night, and at the time it WAS about the music and the dancing, not getting as drunk as you could as quick as you could like it is now x

Nov 10, 2011 - Snookybaz1- you may not be able to dance like that now flower but at least you'll have some fantastic memories. I would've given my left tit to have been around then. And probably my right one as well!
