Could you NOT read the title, "Beginning Bass line/exercise" sit's to help out novice Bass players. You obvisouly haven't seen his other videos' when he's sslapping and plucking like "The Brother's Johnson" who I'm sure you've never heard of either. Jul 30, 2011 - At low volume you can without, yes (max 20 % of amp's volume cap or something). It doesn't exactly sound great though, so a real bass amp will definitely be way better. You can get a really cheap secondhand 15-30W bass amp.
