Apr 14, 2012 - It doesn't take much for a wound to fester, and don't forget the witch had a hand in it. It was her revenge. She got rid of Drogo and the child in one blow. And if you think it didn't need stitches...you should double check the wounds that do. ;)

It's like a little nick.In the books it's described as a deep cut that runs from shoulder to groin, and you can see Drogo's skin hanging off his chest. *that's* a wound that even a strong man could die from, but what he's got in the show.......even I wouldn't have problems with a cut like that, and I'm a couch potato.And btw the witch's revenge is in killing dany's baby, not in giving a drogo a mortal wound. In the book, she tries her best to heal his wound.

May 3, 2012 - Not Exactly, allmost though.Thing is the books also let us learn about the thoughts the main characters have, which gives a better motivation for their actions.Also dreams are explained better in the books... (Or less, which ever it is its better)
