Mar 23, 2010 - Really, precusion on the acoustic and then using tapping to get the sound of multiple guitars, I'm pretty sure that's the exact same thing as drifting. They're obviously diffrent sounding but still the same style, all they do diffrent is add another person to get another depth of instruments.

Mar 24, 2010 - The opening sounds like Steve Reich.
Gigglebooster Says:
Mar 24, 2010 - Yes I understand Andy had his influences as well as these people did but two songs that use the exact same techniques on the exact same instrument will always sound a bit the same not that that's a bad thing. Candyrat's music just all ends up sounding like this, there's some variety in there but most of it heavily resembles andy mckee's styel that he uses in drifting, as shown above.

Apr 16, 2010 - comparing this to Drifting is like comparing an apple to a roast chicken. Sure they are both types of food, but they are completely different when you investigate further. I guess fingerstyle music like this is an acquired taste that only a certain group of people can appreciate.

Apr 18, 2010 - I saw them live on Saturday and my god, what characters they are. For the encore performance Pino simply uttered, "Johann Sebastian Bach." The first 5 seconds in, I looked over to my friend and we both started cracking up. Apparently Bach composed "Smells Like Teen Spirit."
