May 6, 2012 - @TheGrasspond: Those notes on the fifth (A) string are Bb (or A#) and B, not C. The C note on the A string would be in the third fret.Because the second (B) string is a natural B note when played "open", you can't physically play a Bb note in the scale being illustrated in this video (which is sometimes called the open or first position scale, in this case, the blues scale). To get to the Bb (A#) note, you would need to go to the 11th fret on the B string. I hope that helps clear it up.
