Sep 15, 2011 - I beg to differ. I have made several trips to the Dali Museum here in FL. His work in person is much better and richer than any reproduction I've seen. See it in person and judge for yourself.

Sep 18, 2011 - u haev this interview full? where it off of?

konzwambii Says:

Oct 12, 2011 - I have gone on record as calling Dali a "hack". But now my respect for him goes way up, because at least he admits it. Also, we have the same heroes: Velasquez, Raphael, and Vermeer. Quite admirable, to admit that he is far, far, FAR... from their league.

cannoir Says:

Oct 16, 2011 - he was very eccentric lol! a good artist yes. a genius certainly not. rock stars artists get on me nerves.I still remember the day he died. He was embalmed and is probably being kept in a cript. the morticians did a very good job on him. they should be lauded. he looked just as crazy on his death bed as he was alive.

konzwambii Says:

Oct 21, 2011 - @KievanTiger Ok, just for fun I watched it again. I hadn't missed a thing, as I suspected. And I fully understand what he meant by being too intelligent to be a great painter, as this has been true throughout history. He was cerebral, an interesting figure in art, original, and a celebrity. But great painter? No, he was quite correct about this. False modesty or not.

Oct 24, 2011 - can anyone tell me which show this video is from, please?

zackhanscom Says:

Oct 28, 2011 - yeah, but you're just speculating and possibly projecting. it's a nice theory though.

Majoritis Says:

Cthulhuized Says:

Dec 5, 2011 - Who is Dalì? Dalì, Salvador Dalì is Dalì.

Jwubaybee Says:

Dec 7, 2011 - that is obviously paint

zipp015 Says:

Dec 16, 2011 - Anyone know track from 55-1:55?

duckotaco Says:

Dec 19, 2011 - as van gogh proves, suicide is the outcome of the GREATEST intellignce. Self preservation is not so intelligent. I would have to discuss over this for a decade, there's no space here...anyway my pont is that self preservation is NOT "intelligence", otherwise a ghetto nigga with an IQ of -56 would be intelligent. Dalì mntioned Velasquez, who opposite to van gogh had am easy life. So sorry, you must question a couple of things. The idea that great art is pain is an old clichè

duckotaco Says:

Dec 19, 2011 - hey thanks, i've been looking for that name all night. And hey, there is also a brilliant polish surrealist who died by being stabbd by thiefs...more recent...if yu know the name plese tell me

Pabbles123 Says:

Dec 29, 2011 - zdzislaw beksinski and his landscapes and images will forever haunt me, and at least he wasnt a facist pig like Dali

duckotaco Says:

Dec 29, 2011 - hey thanks a lot. That's him

TheLordHodne Says:

Jan 12, 2012 - what a extraodinary man he was!

rypaz87 Says:

Jan 23, 2012 - @zhalktis Blunt brushwork? Dali's surfaces are so pristine that half of the awe that strikes you upon seeing them is in trying to reconcile the fact that you know a brush was involved in the process, but in what way seems to be a perfect mystery. Go out and look again.

WamblyWallaby Says:

Jan 26, 2012 - He wasn't a facist. He declared many political views in his lifetime and all of them were contradictory. He would make shocking and contradictory statements only to grab public attention. If you wanna speak down on an artist's political views, then talk about Picasso. Picasso was a communist heathen. Dali even stated a famous quote regarding Picasso: "Picasso is an artist, so am I. Picasso is Spanish, so am I. Picasso is communist. Neither am I."

Pabbles123 Says:

Jan 27, 2012 - Dali openly supported Franco be it contradictory or not, Franco a man who killed off a greater portion of my ancestry. I am obliged to refute your categorical deconstruction in favor of my heart.

Kaikara05 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - I recommend you read some Wittgenstein......

marioblasalegria Says:

Feb 27, 2012 - Iknew it my hero Dali he was Spainsh..

zoomerlawns Says:

May 11, 2012 - Who cares if Dali was crazy, communist or not, black, white, spanish or gay? He created beautiful works of art, did he not? Let's explore the inner workings of his mind before we judge the person, shall we?
