I've been playing 25 years and own some nice guitars but when I started I had an awful guitar but I would have loved somethoing like the Robot guitar had it existed. Its your money and good for you. Incidentally I own a around 10 guitars inc early 60's strats and a tele but my main playing guitar is a Epiphone 335 that I paid £100 for..I wish you all the very best in learning to play..ignore the blisters :-)

I think a lot of people on here would be happier if he bought a cheap Encore acoustic to learn on. I would have loved one of these starting out. People should be supportive. I think the guitar will rise in value over the years. I support anyone starting out learning to play.
