Feb 20, 2012 - The 'new guard system' incorporates Just guards which give large frame advantages over enemies and allow you to counter-attack even when enemies are mid flow. Also I've beaten countless spammers so no its not their paradise. Soul Calibur's story has always been pretty crap, so don't even go there.

May 11, 2012 - SC3 had a better guard impact system which anti-noobed the button mashers (like taki) but after playing SC5 i honsetly think they slowed the movements down a bit to balance it out. no matter. makes it easier for me to duck/dodge and rip off my nightmare combos ;D
