Added: Jun 26, 2011
Author: TheOldrecordclub
Duration: 2:9
Description:
This song by "The Pipkins" was released in 1970 and reached number 6 here in the UK charts."The Pipkins" were a short-lived novelty duo band, best known for this song. i used some pictures of the great "Charlie Chaplin" for this video as i thought his face matched the music.

Jul 8, 2011 - @TheOldrecordclub Wow, had no idea until just now that Tony Burrows was a member of The Pipkins. That song charted when I was in the 7th grade (1970) and I never forgot it. Thanks for posting it. The other novelty song I remember from that year was Chirpy Chirpy Tweet Tweetby Mac and Katy Kissoon. I'm still looking for that one. What great memory you have! Thanks again, JD
