Mar 13, 2012 - I agreed in my post already that it is not as easy as just implementing a keyensian ideal for the economy to recover. But how does it not make sense? Explain please, because there is good logic behind it. Spend more, take less, thereby kick starting the economy (in very short).
thedutchman01 Says:
Mar 13, 2012 - As to less popular ideas of Ron Paul."Ron Paul supports the elimination of the income tax and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). He asserts that Congress had no power to impose a direct income tax and has introduced legislation to repeal of the 16th Amendment to the Constitution, which was ratified on February 3, 1913."Do you know how stupid this is? How is the government ever going to raise any money to do anything at all?
thedutchman01 Says:
Mar 13, 2012 - Oh and just because your schools are falling still doesn't make the idea of making schools more local a good one. It just means that there is something wrong with the current system. Now if you could come with a good argument as to why making schools a state affair is a good one I might concede the point. But just pointing and saying it's bad now is not a valid argument.
thedutchman01 Says:
Mar 13, 2012 - Funny, in my country the government is also responsible for all those things. But they are also responsible for people having a roof over their heads by our constitution. They are also responsible for people having a good enough income to feed themselves and their kids, to make sure all kids go to school, etc etc. While you can't go to court and demand a house and/or money from the government. They are obliged by the constitution to work towards that.We care for the poor basically.
thedutchman01 Says:
Mar 13, 2012 - "The education part your right I have no clue how to fix it but neither does anyone else."I care to differ there also. Just because you don't know, or I don't know, doesnot mean that nobody knows. There are plenty of countries where college is free, with high quality to boot. And it works through various means. E.g. you have to stay here for x-amount of years after college to earn the money our economy invested in you to make back. As I believe it works in Denmark. as a possibility.
thedutchman01 Says:
Mar 13, 2012 - Yet. We all have to follow EU regulations and standards. And in total that has raised the overall level of education. Less so in my country. But more so in Spain, Greece and recent entries like Poland and such.Big governments have it's uses, And again. Just scaling down is not a good argument on it's own. You still have not made any good argument as to why it would be a defacto good thing. Big gov and made claims about smaller govs.
ToxicMayo9 Says:
Mar 20, 2012 - The Cenk catchphrases: "have at it hoss" and "Of Coooooooouuuurrrssee"
Newt Gingrich Says:
Mar 23, 2012 - I am going to destroy the economy
stedavid13 Says:
Mar 24, 2012 - Or you know, we live in the 21st century, have internet/instant communication/access to data and are using a education system that's well out-dated for the world we live in today. It's time to change your way of thinking.
BEARARMZ Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - ahahahahah
masluxx Says:
Mar 26, 2012 - Newts are slimey.
masluxx Says:
Mar 26, 2012 - well i wanted transperancy so the truth would come one, and here we are just touching the tip of the iceberge. Maybe if we had real transperancy the unethicail things would not happen in washington in the first place.
1337wafflezz Says:
Apr 4, 2012 - Dude just because the federal government doesn't control education doesn't mean that they won't fund it. He's saying release the CONTROL of the public schools back to individual communities. Stop bureaucratic regulations that are killing our country.RON PAUL 2012!
sandstorm18286 Says:
Apr 7, 2012 - Domestic policies r not major concern...Current American foreign policy is dangerous...& its will stay the same if u elect Obama or Romney or Santorum or Gingrich...they all r corporate sellouts & corrupt.RON PAUL 2012!!!
thedutchman01 Says:
Apr 10, 2012 - Please. You think Ron Paul is not corrupt?Lets face it anyone who says that the theory of evolution is 'just a theory' as Ron Paul has said. Should be banned from public office for grose stupidity.
VGTheater Says:
Apr 12, 2012 - @thedutchman01 you are obviously a socialist scumbag, you really dont understand nothing about the free market.schools would be more affordable if the government stay out of it,because there woulld be alot of competition.
VGTheater Says:
Apr 12, 2012 - @thedutchman01 have you even seem Ron Paul records?and you say his corrupt, you are just a socialist who wants free stuff, and us who work have to pay for your lazy ass.
cropathfinder Says:
Apr 13, 2012 - Ron Paul 2012 same shit different asshole
sonofatiger Says:
Apr 15, 2012 - Thank goodist for President Obama.
xBounty9 Says:
Apr 16, 2012 - "duh der der they just getting warms up" uneducated cunt
thedutchman01 Says:
Apr 22, 2012 - Ah. Yes. Ofcourse. Because I can't be a socialist and have a good job at the same time.Impossible ofcourse... The fact that I have a degree in economics is also meaningless and I must not understand it.And yes... Ofcourse, caring about others beside myself less fortunate then me, must mean I'm a scumbag...Or not understanding how the free market works is because I must be a socialist.Please. Do you even know what socialism is? I highly doubt it. Feel free to spout the fox-news nonsense.
VGTheater Says:
Apr 22, 2012 - @thedutchman01 yes,are you arguing that socialism is a good thing?your insane,no one should be force to give their money to other people,it should be volunteerism.
Tokopol Says:
May 1, 2012 - Socialists don't want free stuff. We want income equality -- as in everybody EARNING roughly the same. You don't know anything about socialism. Conservatives usually think they do, but invariably turn out to be clueless on the subject.
leloodallasmultipass Says:
May 2, 2012 - if schooling were privatized, then there would be companies competing for the largest possible market share of education and that means, by default, pricing would come down. we pay for education now, it is just hidden in our taxes. it is just like it was with the cable companies. by being the only game in town, they didn't have to prove anything. by having choices, companies make more of an effort for your dollar. that is why we would want it. Ron Paul for 2012.

thedutchman01 Says:
Mar 12, 2012 - Oh and thirdly..."People love him because hes honest unlike obama and he wants to end all wars and bring troops home."He's as honoust as any other politician. He likes to talk about the ideas he has that sound popular. But how often do you hear him talking about his less popular ideas? Go and look up his political pamphlet (or whatever it's called, english is not my first language) and see for yourself.
