The only thing that made the first 'fun' was that it had a sandbox feel whilst being a linear shooter. You say Crysis is linear, the mission structure is but at least you have the choice on how to approach the mission. Most shooters are just overscripted piles of "cinematic" shit. The story in Crysis was generic, but I don't really see how anyone with even a remotely functioning imagination could say they hated Crysis. If you play Crysis like COD, yeah it sucks.Troll (Because it makes people feel baaad inside.)

May 15, 2012 - PC is not just one plattform. It's an insane set of various plattforms. For one there's XP&DX9 vs. DX10+ on later systems. Then there's the varying number and performance of CPU cores. And third, there's NVidia ("aim for geforce 8800 and you won't go wrong") and ATI with HD6 being trickier, potentially slower than HD5, and HD7 an entirely different, more NVidia like thing altogether. Plus driver versions and driver bugs.

May 17, 2012 - to be honest pc gaming will always remain steady and proactive due to its amazing community of bro's. look at arma 2..it has become the thrid best selling game of the quarter on pc because of a mod called day z that has only been spread by word of mouth. no need to worry about console peasant's as we will always get a semi decent game then have the player community make it a god tier one e.g. Skyrim.

May 19, 2012 - Actually a 'graphic' is a rendered image that ether displaces or does not displace movement, a graphic is an image. There is a combination of camera techniques such as lens flairs involved in game production, but thats not what you refer to as a graphic, this is what you learn as you begin developing games.
