Apr 11, 2012 - When BeBe sang this song the flood gates of my tears just poured as I remembered my best friend of 50 years. As I understand, this was written when BeBe's brother died. I hope he formally releases this song. Thank you BeBe. I love your voice. RIP Whitney.

Apr 11, 2012 - @andreaboyan, @o0bridget, @PLAYDIRTY1000, Jesse Jackson was in attendance because Cissy WANTED him there! Jesse has been a friend to Dionne & Cissy's family for years!! The Drinkard (Gospel) family used to sing @ Many Civil Rights events promoted by Martin Luther King Jr, Jesse Jackson & the NAACP. Perhaps these historical events were before ALL of your times, but I Know & remember Cissy's family involvment in the movement. Jesse has been a friend to this family probably before Whitney was born

Apr 13, 2012 - Inspite of Rev. Jackson's flaws, we should never forget how he along w/many others, helped pave the way for some of the rights we enjoy today. He didn't show any outward emotions but we don't know what was in his heart and on his mind. The family wanted him there and he obliged, so a big thanks to him and the other folks who paid homage to Whitney.

Apr 14, 2012 - I noticed the same thing about Jesse Jackson. He did not flinch, smile, or show any emotion. This was a whirlwind of emotions felt by people in that church and he seemed impervious to any of the emotions evoked by the church.

Apr 14, 2012 - "We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It's one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it's another to think that yours is the only path."

Apr 27, 2012 - this is such a tribute to someone he truly truly loved... we never think we will lose those who we cannot imagine living without, but we all will ... "lost in my hometown" ... my heart hurts for everyone who has ever lost a family or friend who shaped our daily lives....

May 16, 2012 - Absolutely beautiful and heartfelt tribute by Bebe Winans. What I liked about this service was that it was friends, family, people close to her personally paid homage not just to the greatest voice of all, but someone they knew and loved.

May 24, 2012 - BeBe hit the nail on the head talking about "crazy Whitney".. lol. If only Whitney would have been more welcomed to just be that crazy self around everybody. You can just tell in so many of her straight-laced interviews, she's just dying to bust out and do somethin funny. But Clive taught her to be the prim and proper diva and that's the person everyone else expected her to be. If she was allowed to be her goofy, crazy, passionate, lovely self.. just maybe things would have turned out different.

Apr 9, 2012 - I feel the same way about Jesse Jackson, why was he there anyways???? He didn't even flinch, I don't understand how he could have no emotions showing when I watch these videos I still cry!!! I think BeBe & CeCe Winans and the rest of their family are one class act all the way.
